The Society of Sought Silence is a soundscape club. It is the work of a sound artist, Andy Backhouse, and it is a bit of a personal project of mine. I will send out sound art in the form of performance podcasts to the patrons who frequent my site on a growingly frequent basis. This will motivate me to get out and about in to the town I live in - Harrogate, North Yorkshire - as well as practice the craft that got me good write ups in the British Press.
