This is an audio reflection by Wesley Fryer following the March 14-15, 2016 STEM Institute at Graded School in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This two day professional development workshop for educators included engineering design projects, hands-on STEM projects in which participants collaboratively designed and built catapults as well as prosthetic hands, discussion and exploration of 3D printing and 3D design, "Curiosity Links," robotics, green screen videography, and other Maker Studio / Makerspace activity and project ideas.
