#1: Smart Cities in 2021: advances and challenges.

Talk with Prof. Dr. Norbert Kersting (IfPOL-WWU, Germany) and Prof. Dr. Ana Carla Bliacheriene (EACH-USP, Brazil)  Cities are where human life takes place. According to the United Nations, in 2018 55% of the world population lived in urban areas. The projection for 2050 expects an increase up to 68% of the world population living in urban areas.  How can we plan the future of the cities and prevent the world from facing the consequences of the up to now model of urbanization?
