Danny and Tess met as two fresh-faced and rosy-cheeked "straight people" in junior high school, and instantly bonded over their shared cynicism and obsessive love of film. Over the next decade(s) they would grow progressively queerer (one more quickly than the other), and continue to hone their witty banter and film/media knowledge, to the delight and/or annoyance of people in their immediate vicinities. They have remained thick as two super gay thieves through many perilous adventures (both separately and together), from dropping out of film school, to working in the tech industry, to relocations to strange faraway lands (like China and Seattle), among countless others. When Tess's side-hustle making a movie debate show on the radio was put on hold due to a global pandemic, they decided to finally make the often-discussed leap to the wonderful world of podcasting, and bring to YOU, dear listener, all their witty observations, deeply pedantic analyses, and boisterous opinions on your favorite (and most hated) movies, TV shows, and other media.
