It's 2023, and somehow mental health is still one of the most stigmatized topics of conversation in every household, school, place of work, grocery store, gas station, club, bar, airport... you get the point. It's one of the most important aspects of life, and yet, nobody talks about it. Just like sex and money, no one teaches you anything useful about it, and somehow we're all just expected to be good at... taking care of our mental health that is.Mental health is one of those topics of conversations almost everyone tries to avoid because it's well... uncomfortable to talk about. How are you supposed to talk about something you know very little about other than you're supposed to take pills when you don't feel normal, see a shrink when you have dark thoughts, and for the love of God whatever you do... don't ever talk about your mental health openly with anyone. Keep it to yourself, put a smile on your face, and pretend like everything is okay... until it isn't.The purpose of this show is to destigmatize daily conversations about mental health. I have a vision of a world where we talk about mental health as openly and freely as the latest tabloid drama. I have a vision of a world that embraces mental health as a normal part of life that we all experience. I have a vision of a world where mental health is no longer associated with the words "problem, issue, or broken." I have a vision of a world where children are taught practical skills from a young age to better understand how to manage emotions, heal traumas, and communicate what they're feeling. I have a vision of a world where all people are strong self led individuals that experience constant clarity, compassion, courage, confidence, curiosity, creativity, calmness, and connectedness. This is my goal. This is my mission. This is my purpose.Welcome to the Big Little Kid ShowFollow Big Tay on Social MediaInstagram: @big.taayyTikTok: @big.taayyYouTube: @big.taayy.
