What are you willing to know? This is the question before the question that Rei asks each week before our guest brings 3 coins and a question and we cast a reading from the I Ching, a 5,000 year old oracle writ new by Rei in her book Oracle of Emergence: An Evolutionary I Ching. As we throw the coins and dig into the hexagrams that the I Ching provides, more questions are revealed and more resistance is dissolved. Sometimes gentle, sometimes sharp, generally true. We can't really fuck suffering until we trust suffering. We can't really trust it until we open to it and get to the bottom of what we consider unbearable until we find out how buoyant we are. Openness is the order of the day, or at least the hour. Random speaks its own vast tongue and we listen together. What else can we do? That's not a rhetorical question.
