In 2020, 52 percent of actors, 55 percent of dancers and 27 percent of musicians were out of work... What happened? The COVID-19 pandemic. We watched it all unfold, standing in Times Square at 3am after Broadway shuttered its doors and realizing we were all alone. The City that never sleeps was.... sleeping.
