We believe that national security can only be strengthened through public participation. Our outreach programs seek to build public resilience — the ability to weather hardship and adversity — that is so critical to a nation facing security challenges that range from natural disasters to outside aggression. We train citizens in community emergency response: how to self-help, treat those who are wounded, together and assist first responders, and be responsible for their immediate surroundings.
